Anyone looking for a glimpse into how the Wesley Chapel football program will look once new coach Ben Alford puts his product on the field only has to take a gander at the Florida High School Athletic Association’s classifieds to figure it out.
Instead of the Wing-T offense, which has been a staple since John Castelamare opened the program in 1999, will now be a spreads offense. And the defense will be a 4-4. Here’s an excerpt from the ad:
Wesley Chapel High School is looking for 4 assistant coaches offensive and defensive positions available. Must have knowledge of the spread offense and 4-4 defense. College playing experience preferred.
