J.D. Drew takes a seat tonight with the lefty Scott Kazmir on the mound for the Rays, and that opens the door for Tampa Bay’s favorite villain, Coco Crisp, to start in center for Game 2. Jacoby Ellsbury moves over to man right field for the Sox, but everything else is the same, personnel-wise, for both teams.
The lineups:
Red Sox
Ellsbury RF
Pedroia 2B
Ortiz DH
Youkilis 3B
Bay LF
Lowrie SS
Varitek C
Kotsay 1B
Crisp CF
Beckett P
Rays
Iwamura 2B
Upton CF
Pena 1B
Longoria 3B
Crawford LF
Floyd DH
Navarro C
Gross RF
Bartlett SS
Kazmir P

Tonight’s game may very well decide the series. If Josh Beckett pitches like he did last October, the Sox will be up 2-0. And no, they won’t choke away a series like the Yanks. If the Rays can win tonight, I think we’re going seven.
