BOSTON - Carl Crawford has five hits - tying for an ALCS record - and the Rays lead the Red Sox 13-2 after 7 1/2 innings.
Crawford hit an RBI triple in the top of the eighth and scored on a single by Willy Aybar.
Boston added a run in the seventh on a triple by David Ortiz - his first hit in the series - and RBI single by Jason Bay. Starter Andy Sonnanstine is still working for the Rays in the bottom of the eighth.
