Coney receives offer from FSU

Plant City High junior quarterback Bennie Coney received another Division-I football scholarship offer, this time from Florida State, Raiders Coach Wayne Ward said Monday.
Coney, who missed Friday’s game against Newsome because of disciplinary reasons, received the offer during an unofficial visit with the Seminoles this past weekend. Coney’s other scholarship offers include USF, Purdue, Michigan and Auburn.
