This chart ran with my story today in the Tampa Tribune about USF looking to make the Big Three a foursome. Since 2005, USF’s numbers are pretty comparable with FSU and Miami.
A look at how the state’s Big Three and USF compare since 2005 when South Florida joined the Big East:
School W-L Bowls ; National rank*
UF 47-9 4 bowls; No. 1 (2006, ‘08, ‘09)
USF 35-19 4 bowls; No. 2 (2007)
FSU 33-22 4 bowls; No. 4 (2005)
UM 30-22 3 bowls; No. 9 (2009)
*Highest AP ranking for each team since 2005
