The Blake Yellow Jackets haven’t won a game this season, but a victory Friday night against rival Middleton would make their season.
“That would make us feel like we’re state champions,” Blake defensive end/kicker Montrey Pride said. “And it would kind of set the tone for the rest of the season.”
The two teams will again meet at Raymond James Stadium in a game that has become more of event than anything else.
“It is huge playing in that stadium,” Pride said. “It makes you feel good, like you’re top material. There’s nothing like getting taped up in the Bucs locker room. Not everybody can say they can do that.”
