While NFL training camps are just getting into full swing, the Arena Football Leauge is winding down, and one former Bull still has a chance to capture a championship.
Former USF defensive lineman Richard Clebert helped the Jacksonville Sharks reach their first AFL title game Monday night, contributing two tackles and a sack in a 64-55 victory over the Georgia Force in the American Conference championship game. Jacksonville will face the Arizona Rattlers in ArenaBowl XXIV on Friday.
It will be the second time in as many seasons Clebert will play in the AFL title game. Last year, he helped the Spokane Shock defeat the Tampa Bay Storm in the league championship game.
Clebert actually began the 2011 season with the Storm, which featured a host of USF players on the roster this season. He was traded twice during the year, first to Milwaukee and then to Jacksonville.
