After two innings, it’s Louisiana 3, Citrus Park 0 at the Little League World Series.
A tall task indeed against Louisiana pitcher Kennon Fontenot, who has tossed two no-hit innings, while striking out five consecutive batters.

Before the game, Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome was inducted into the Little League Hall of Excellence. We chatted briefly, and he was pleased to see a reporter from Tampa. “Great memories,’’ he said, speaking of Baltimore’s Super Bowl XXXV victory at Raymond James Stadium in 2001. “We’d like to come back. I don’t think anybody is expecting us this year. Of course, they weren’t expecting us that year, either.’’
