At the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., the Citrus Park All-Stars have fallen behind 2-1 against Shelton, Conn.
Citrus Park, down to its final three outs, will bat in the top of the sixth innings.
Connecticut took a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning on a one-out RBI single by Tyler Tice, the starting pitcher, who is 3-for-3.
Citrus Park, bidding for a spot in Thursday night’s U.S. semifinals, is eliminated from the tournament with a loss.
