The Citrus Park All-Stars scored in the top of the third inning, cutting Louisiana’s lead to 3-1 in the U.S. semifinals of the Little League World Series.
Austin McCullers drew a walk off Louisiana pitcher Kennon Fontenot, then advanced to second on a wild pitch. Special pinch-runner Daniel Martin took third on a grounder, then scored on another wild pitch.
Fontenot hasn’t allowed any hits through three innings, but he had a pair of walks and three wild pitches.
Kevin Merrell remains the Citrus Park pitcher in the bottom of the third.
