Top Division I prospect Anthony Chickillo has withdrawn from Alonso, coach Lee Meitzler said.
Meitlzer told the Tribune Chickillo’s new address is in the Plant district and the school won’t fight the transfer.
“It’s going to be hard to fight when he’s got an apartment near the school,” Meitzler said.
With more than 30 Division I offers, Chickillo will be one of the top defensive line recruits in the country. So will his new teammate James Wilder, Jr. With Chickillo and Wilder lining up on either end of Plant’s defensive line, the Panthers can boast the top line in the county.
