CDS back Robert Davis gets FIU offer

Carrollwood Day running back Robert Davis has received his first football scholarship.
According to Patriots coach Lane McLaughlin, Davis was offered by Florida International University on Monday.
Davis has been a phenom over the past two seasons. This season as a junior he rushed for 1,832 yards and 25 touchdowns. As a sophomore, Davis churned out 1,523 rushing yards and 15 TDs.
McLaughlin expects this to be the first of many offers for Davis.
