Former Land O’ Lakes standout tight end Caz Piurowski will miss the remainder of the season at Florida State due to a knee injury.
Piurowski, a senior, suffered anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligament tears in his right knee Saturday during the Seminoles’ 49-44 loss to Georgia Tech.
That puts an end to a four-year career, which saw him play offensive tackle as well for the ‘Noles. For his career, Piurowski, son for former FSU linebacker Paul Piurowski, snatched 33 receptions for 377 yards and three scores.
Here’s the official word from the folks in Tallahassee.
