There are a dozen spring training games left, but only four more at Al Lang, including today’s tilt against the Phillies. Pretty decent crew coming over from Clearwater for the back end of a home-and-home set.
On the injury front, there is some confusion regarding Scott Kazmir—go figure. He said he’s planning to throw a bullpen session tomorrow, but Joe Maddon said he didn’t think that was on the schedule. He was going to check with trainer Ron Porterfield later to see what’s going on.
Also, Shawn Riggans hopes to get in some swings and maybe catch some pitches today as he returns from a bruised left hand.

Rays fans should come out to support their team on Friday night when they play at Legends Field against the Yankees. I noticed there are a few tickets available online at the Yankees web site. I was able to get two great seats today.
