PORT CHARLOTTE - Pat Burrell and Reid Brignac each drove in a run in the fourth innning, and the Rays lead the Orioles 4-1 at Charlotte Sports Park.
Evan Longoria doubled off ex-Ray Mark Hendrickson to open the fourth. Sean Rodriguez walked and went to third on a single in the inning, so after three at-bats as a Ray this spring, he’s 2-for-2 with a walk.
Manager Joe Maddon has gone to his bench for several changes. Grant Balfour, the fourth Rays’ pitcher, is pitching in the top of the fifth inning.
