Following a 70-17 rout of visiting Florida A&M on Saturday night, USF moved up in both major college football polls released Sunday.
The Bulls rose five spots to No. 17 in the USA Today coaches poll and moved up two spots to No. 18 in the Associated Press Top 25.
USF is the second-highest ranked Big East team in both polls, coming in behind West Virginia, which is ranked 16th by both the writers and the coaches.
USF (3-0) hosts UTEP (2-1) on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
