The USF men’s soccer team won its fourth straight game Saturday, defeating Drexel, 1-0, in the team’s final game at the Embassy Suites Kickoff Classic in Fort Myers.

Midfielder Bernardo Anor, who scored the game-winner in USF’s 2-1 win over nationally-ranked Ohio State on Thursday, provided the heroics for the second straight match. Anor got a head on a Ben Sweat cross and beat Drexel’s keeper with 16:26 on the clock in the first half for the game’s only goal. Sweat and Hasani Sinclair each were credited with an assist on Anor’s goal, the third this season for the USF junior.

The Bulls (4-1-1) return to the pitch Friday when they travel to face Connecticut, ranked eighth in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, for their Big East Conference opener. The game, scheduled for 7 p.m., will be nationally-televised on ESPNU.
