We’re about 20 minutes from tip off here at Madison Square Garden for USF’s game against Georgetown in the second round of the Big East Tournament.
The Bulls need a win to enhance their chances of qualifying for March Madness for the first time since 1992.
Some pundits say if USF knocks off the Hoyas for the second time this season, the Bulls are in.
Others say it will take a victory today and then upsetting No. 1-seed Syracuse in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
I personally think if they win today and Seton Hall loses to Notre Dame, the Bulls will get in.
I’ll be blogging live throughout the game, so check back in often for game updates.
The good news: USF has made several jump shots in pregame warmups after scoring 50 of its 58 points in the paint in Tuesday’s 58-49 victory over DePaul.
The bad news: None of them count on the scoreboard.
