If you are looking for the “Bill Cowher to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers” rumors to end, this bit of news will not help.
The Buffalo News is reporting that Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier is scheduled to interview for the Bills’ head coaching job today in Minneapolis.
In addition, the paper is reporting the Bills are interested in Cowher, but said there have been no significant talks. Here is a quote from that story:
“It’s believed the Bills still are conducting some lobbying to try to convince former Pittsburgh coach Bill Cowher to consider their job. Significant talks with Cowher have yet to happen, and it’s still unlikely that Cowher would be willing to end his two-year hiatus from the sidelines to take the Buffalo job.”
Many skeptics believe Cowher to Tampa Bay is still a real possibility after the Bucs failed to say they were dedicated to Raheem Morris in a statement released earlier this week. The Bucs said they were committed to a plan started 12 months ago, but never said Morris was part of that plan.

Why are you acting like Cowher to Tampa in 2010 is still a possibility? The Glazers already confirmed Morris would be back.
Now, if Cowher doesn’t land a job in the next month, him coming to Tampa in 2011 seems like a very good possibility (assuming Morris doesn’t succeed next year).
