The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced it signed T Xavier Fulton.
Fulton (6-foot-4 and 301 pounds) was selected in the fifth round (155th overall) of last April’s draft. He is a converted defensive end who started 25 games at left tackle his final two seasons at Illinois. Fulton was penalized only twice last year, allowing two QB pressures in 393 pass plays.
In addition, Fulton he earned All-Big Ten Conference second-team honors as a junior and senior.
