TAMPA - Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano was named in a Sporting News poll of rival NFL players this week as the coach they would least like to play for.
Considering the respondents could not vote for their own coach, meaning he did not get any such votes from his own playters, Schiano didn’t seem to mind losing the popularity contest.
“(The) 61 guys over there in (our) locker room, those are the ones that I care about,’’ Schiano said with a laugh. “Now, if (my players) had voted (for me), I’d ship them off to Buffalo or something.”
