Now that’s a win. Tornado Watch, driving rains and all! I’m sure that there will be naysayers pointing out Garcia’s pedestrian numbers. I’ll gladly take a win in which he made good choices, protected the ball, and we walk away with a ‘W’. Being a perfect 6-0 at home is an accomplishment. Our defense earned a game ball. One sack, consistent pressure, good coverage, not giving up the kind of big plays that New Orleans have made their specialty - our guys came to play.

Some mentions: Clifton Smith - great returns AND he managed to get out of a game without a fumble. Yes! Carnell Williams - 5.0 yards per carry, a convincing fourth down conversion and a touchdown. Great to have him back. Warrick Dunn - 22 carries for 72 yards as our main ball-toter. We’ll take it. Elbert Mack - special teams head-hunter. Jermaine Phillips - welcome back! Big hits and a pick.

Hi Preach;

I was just curious if you used real wine in your communion or not? Those sneaky old Deacons of yours have been putting (Spiking) some spirits (Not the heavenly type) in your wine! As I sit here at 10:00pm this Sunday evening (Keeping the Sabbath Holy) and watching the Vikes beating the Bears 17 to 7, I have been reflecting on your Sunday pics and if the Vikes go on to win, you will only be at 6 and 6 or only 50%. If I were you, I would put some surveillance on those Deacons, they are ruining your reputation (Outside of the Church) of course. Good luck with the Monday game, it could put you below 50%!!!!!! Good Luck Preach and hang in there, those spirits will make you do very funny things!!!!!
