JACKSONVILLE – Josh Freeman will be back at quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when they take on the Jaguars at EverBank Stadium today.
Freeman missed the Bucs game a week ago against the Carolina Panthers because of a bruised right throwing shoulder but he’ll return to the lineup today as the Bucs attempt to break a six-game losing streak.
While Freeman returns to bolster the Bucs offense, the defense will be without cornerback Aqib Talib, who will miss the game with a hamstring injury he aggravated during last week’s game.
Talib will be replaced in the starting lineup by E.J. Biggers, whose duties as the third corner in nickel and dime packages is expected to be filed by Myron Lewis.
