The Bucs accidentally left Brian Griese off today’s injury report:
QB Brian Griese (right elbow) was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice.
Here is the previous report
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
RB Warrick Dunn (back)
S Jermaine Phillips (forearm)
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
FB B.J. Askew (hamstring)
WR Michael Clayton (knee)
DT Jovan Haye (foot)
WR Ike Hilliard (shoulder)
G Arron Sears (back)
WR Maurice Stovall (hamstring)
After practice, here is what Bucs Coach Jon Gruden said about Dunn:
“In hindsight, we probably shouldn’t have allowed him to play. We chose not to use him much, but he is such a warrior and he has played this game for so long. He wasn’t himself Sunday in Dallas. That’s a big part of our offense. He and Earnest have split almost 220 touches right down the middle. It’s a unique combination that we have. We have concern about Warrick. We know he is going to be OK, but boy, we miss him. That goes for some others.”
Gruden also said he did not anticipate placing Phillips on injured reserve. He expects to evaluate Phillips’ condition after Tampa Bay’s bye week.
