Bucs-Falcons has small national audience

Posted Sep 23, 2011 by Anwar S. Richardson

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have a 4:15 p.m. start against Atlanta on Sunday, but that does not mean football fans nationwide will watch this game.

According to The506.com, only fans in Alabama, Georgia – parts of Mississippi, Louisiana and South Carolina – and a small section of South Florida will watch the game on Fox. The majority of teams in the nation will watch Green Bay at Chicago.

In addition, the game will be blacked out locally.
