Meow meow meow - would those nice little Carolina kitty cats like some milk? Because by the looks on their faces at the end of that game, the milk they were drinking was pretty sour.
Your 4-2 Bucs and even Jon Gruden will have to smile at that performance. Big defensive plays and Geno Hayes’ blocked punt return to get us started. Big offensive plays when we needed them and someone stepping up to cover for an injured colleague all over the field.
Warrick Dunn goes over the 100-yard mark for the first time as a Buc since that amazing Monday Night game against the Rams in December 2000. That was his 11th ton and one of the most impressive I have seen him put up. And of course special mention for Earnest Graham for switching to full back when Byron Storer got hurt.
Now let’s please give Jon some credit for the goal-line call in getting Earnest the touchdown as a reward for his unselfish play. That was a touch of play-calling genius and one that should not go un-noticed.
Just how does a 290-pound defensive lineman do a cartwheel? That was almost worth the 15-yard penalty just to see Jovan Haye pull that stunt off.
So now we have a week until the Seahawks come to town and they are not the only one flying in. The BUCPOWER.COM tour arrives at Tampa Airport on Tuesday night with the Lightning, Bulls, Rays and Bucs all on the schedule for the week ahead. See you all there!

I think the Bucs’ defense made a statement last Sunday with their play against Carolina. The rest of the NFC south has been put on notice that the division title passes through Tampa again this year. Hopefully we can keep up the intensity over the stretch of the season.
