First I want to congratulate Phillip G. Darns Jr. and Bernard “BK” Jackson because they are the 2009 Dream Seeker OLE IS ALIVE Recipients.

I know the students appreciate the Big Checks form Sheen Dental Laboratories, and Phil and Julie Huff, NewsChannel 8 Photojournalist, and http://www.vp-jourlism.com. I thank you all for your overwhelming support for the 3rd Annual Dream Seeker OLE IS ALIVE Mother???s Day 2009 Scholarship Program. I so appreciate your financial, physical and emotional contributions.  Your involvement made the evening a fabulous success. I am humbled by your thoughtfulness. Special Thanks to, FCG Managers, John Schueler, Cathy Helean, Mike Pumo, Joyce Lueders, The News Staff, Don North, Rick McEwen, Phil Hill and the Production Staff, Morris Pyle, Stacie Schaible, Gayle Guyardo, Nancy Ryan, The Audio Genius, Speaker of the hour Mr. Gary Baldassari, I will let you all see his power point later…The first Dream Seeker OLE recipient and Mistress of Ceremonies Philicia Darns. I had a lot of phenomenal MOTHERS to help me, but I really LOVED the kind words from all of the mothers who spoke… Julie Huff, Tyuana Bass Darn, and Regina Jackson Underwood. They rocked my world. The program wants all phenomenal mothers to feel good about their hard work of raising those Bucified Students, and remind everyone about the hard work of Emma the Legend!!!

This year was so special to me because with the economy like it is, one would think there was no way to celebrate the success of our Class of 2009 the way BUCIFIED likes to honor their hard work.
But, because the motto was ???failure is not an option???, I was not letting this year go by without a ceremony to honor their successes.

I am BUCIFIED enough to know that The Dream Seeker ???OLE IS ALIVE??? recipients from 2009 deserve to be honored no matter what!

I have a long list of wonderful sponsors, organizations and special friends to thank, I might miss someone, I spent a long time trying to get this right, but Words would never capture my gratitude towards the hard work of my special friends. They tirelessly demonstrated their support and dedication leading up to the big day and on game day itself, which was May 6 2009. The students were so appreciative and this made me so proud to have friends like I have. Keep in mind, because I been BUCIFIED so long I have a lot of friends. Some may not be able to make it to the event every year, but they show their love in other ways.

I must thank God, because I did not know how it would happen this year, but GOD did, and when he showed up he showed OUT.

Her name is Kristen Hasara, Wanda DeBose, all the other food, door prizes, everything else, plus the designed the program booklet, Trendella Carpenter, Ivan and Ayesha Kirk, IKE LEG, Agape Singers, BK JACKSON, Kristen Guilfoos, Militant Military, and Sean Brown for the music, Charlotte Scruggs, Tanya Louise, Judy Gay, Susan Braun, Monroe Middle School, Jasmine Lane for your kind words ,Tim Repsher, Shirley Johnson, Joann Pitts, Chanttle Cloutier, Cheryl Schuette, Super Bowl 3 Champion Earl Christy, Jill Dahl, from Martinez Middle School BLAKE High Staff, Tyrone Keys from All Sports Community Service and staff for making an appearance this year.
