Brooks-DeBartolo stars White, Hopps hit 1,000-point mark

Brooks-DeBartolo senior guard Chelsea White eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her school earlier this month against Tenoroc High. White is currently averaging 17 points, 6 steals, and 4 assists oer game as one of the county’s top girls basketball athletes.
The 5-foot-5 White was honored for her milestone achievement Dec. 9 at a home game against Seffner Christian, where senior Vintoria Hopps also reached the 1,000-point career mark. White currently has a total of 1052 points for Brooks-DeBartolo, which has a record of 10-1.
