Pasco coach Tom McHugh and ATH Trey Dudley-Giles confirmed to The Pasco Tribune on Wednesday the Pirates Kickoff Classic game against Brooksville Hernando on Aug. 26 will be broadcast on Bright House Sports Network.
The Pirates, who went 11-1 last season, return not only Giles (9 TD, 4 INT), but also QB Jacob Guy (25 TD, 2,014 yards) and look to be continue to be the top team in Pasco County. The Leopards were 9-2 in 2010, making them the top team in Hernando County. Both teams are adjusting to FHSAA’s re-classification that put Pasco in the new 5A-6 and Hernando in 6A-6.
BHSN is listed as channel 47 or 1147 in high-definition, according to the network’s Web site. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. at W.F. Edwards Stadium in Dade City.
