Storm defensive lineman Tom Briggs will miss Saturday’s season finale against Los Angeles after suffering broken ribs during Tampa Bay’s loss to San Jose.
Storm coach Tim Marcum declared Briggs out on Monday, two days after Tampa Bay’s playoff hopes were dashed with the 73-70 loss to the SaberCats.
Marcum said he was unsure of who would replace Briggs in the lineup against the Avengers on Saturday at the St. Pete Times Forum. Marcum added there could be some other minor lineup tweaks but nothing significant.
