Clearwater’s Keith Thurman will be on the undercard of the Shane Mosley-Sergio Mora fight Sept. 18, Golden Boy announced Thursday.
The Mosley-Mora tilt will take place at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and will be a live, pay-per-view card.
Thurman (13-0, 12 KOs) will square off against Portland, Oregon’s Quandray Robertson (15-9, 10 KOs) in an eight-round junior middleweight bout.
Thurman was last in the ring in July against Stalin Lopez. Thurman, as has been the case with the bulk of his opponents, knocked Lopez out in the second round of that fight, which was held at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in California.
The card, entitled “200: CELEBRATE AND DOMINATE”, will also feature Mexican phenom Saul “Canelo” Alvarez against former champion Carlos “Tata” Baldomir, junior welterweight contender “Vicious” Victor Ortiz against former champ “Vicious” Vivian Harris and former champion Daniel Ponce De Leon against the world’s No. 2 featherweight, Antonio Escalante, in a WBO featherweight title elimination bout.
The telecast begins at 9 p.m. ET Sept. 18 and will cost viewers $44.95.
