South Florida midfielder Zak Boggs was taken by the New England Revolution with the 31st pick in the MLS Draft in Philadelphia on Thursday.
Boggs scored four goals for the Bulls last season, three of which were game-winners, while playing in all 21 games. He was also names as a Lowe’s Senior Class Award All-American.
Boggs will have the opportunity to join other former Bulls in the league, including All-Americans Jeff Cunningham (FC Dallas) and Yohance Marshall (Los Angeles Galaxy), and former U.S. Under-17 and Under-20 national team player Anthony Wallace, who played a season for the Bulls before being drafted by FC Dallas.
