Blount on top at RB in Bucs depth chart

TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their first depth chart of the season Tuesday, and the only real surprise – if you can call it that – is at running back, where incumbent LeGarrette Blount is ahead of rookie Doug Martin.
The Bucs traded back into the first round of the draft last April to grab Martin, and there is still a chance Martin will win the starter’s job, but he’ll clearly have to beat out Blount to do it.
Other notes from the depth chart include rookie linebacker Lavonte David, a second-round pick out of Nebraska, listed as the starter at weakside linebacker alongside returning starters Mason Foster and Quincy Black.
