For the second time in four days, Bloomingdale High was run hard and walked away with comfortable victories at a major county invitational cross country meet.
Saturday, the Bulls won the W.D. Johnson Invitational at E.G. Simmons Park in Ruskin. Tuesday, they captured both first-place team trophies at the Ron Frost Invitational at Durant.
There’s more than 50 kids out for the Bloomingdale cross country teams this fall and coach Jenn Beach says many of them, particularly on the girls side, are underclassmen.
