Bishop McLaughlin to face first county public school

For the first time in school history, Bishop McLaughlin’s baseball team will face a Pasco County public school team.
The Hurricanes, with new coach Tom LoSoura. will open their season against Class 6A Mitchell on Monday at 4 p.m. in the opening round of the Lee Byers Invitational at East Lake.
The Class 3A Hurricanes were 21-8 last season under Nick Rodriguez, advancing to the Class 2A region semifinals.
