Berkeley pitcher joins six others in signee ceremony

Berkeley Prep has announced one more athlete, baseball pitcher Anderson Baldy, will join six other athletes signing college commitments today at 12:45 in the Straz Family Field House.

Baldy, who was 3-5 on the season for the district champion Buccaneers will be signing with Washington and Lee University (Lexington City, Va.). Baldy struck out 53 batters this season in 45.1 innings of work.

“Anderson will be a tremendous asset to Washington and Lee both on and off the mound for the next four years,” said Berkeley’s Head Baseball Coach Justin Houston.
