Beardsley, Gyorio join Rowdies, more on streaming games

The FC Tampa Bay Rowdies are close to having their full roster available, with English defender Jason Beardsley and Canadian midfielder Mozzi Gyorio reaching Tampa today according to the club’s twitter feed.
The only absentees are now Scott Buete, who is finishing his indoor league season with the Baltimore Blast, and Adam Nowland, who was in camp opening week before returning to England while his paperwork was completed.
Elsewhere, more details are coming out regarding the online streaming video for the upcoming Division II season thanks to Inside Minnesota Soccer. In this story published on Friday morning, Barclay Kruse, Chief Communications Officer for the NSC Minnesota Stars soccer team, said that the free service will be similar to the one offered by USL-1 and NeuLion last season with the home clubs responsible for the quality of the broadcast.
This basically confirms what TBO.com was informed of earlier this week by the NASL and is an excellent development for the league to try and gain exposure in its 12 markets.

Thanks for the updates, Nick! Please keep us updated with the status of tonight’s game. The rain is coming down really hard and unlike the U.S. game from a few weeks ago, there’s a lot of thunder.

As of right now the game is still on, Coach Adrian Bush from UT says the field looks good right now, and in my experience the field at Pepin usually drains well.
The Rowdies are also expecting the game to go ahead, but for more updates keep an eye on the @TBO_Rowdies twitter feed, I’ll be updating anything pertinent to tonight’s game there.
