Baseball: Jesuit’s Beerman commits to Villanova

Jesuit first baseman Max Beerman has given a verbal commitment to play baseball at Villanova, according to Tigers coach Richie Warren.
Beerman hit .291 with 30 RBIs, 17 runs scored and eight home runs.
His efforts, which includes a walk-off grand slam against Bradenton Lakewood Ranch in the playoffs, helped lead Jesuit to the Class 4A state title game. That particular homer advanced them to the regional finals.
