Faith Baptist infielder/pitcher Chad Burrows will play college baseball at Bryan College, located in Dayton, Tenn., according to Eagles coach Gene Reynolds.
Burrows, a third baseman and pitcher, hit .615 in 20 games, with a team-high 52 RBIs, 48 hits, 13 doubles and nine home runs. He also hit two triples. In 39 innings of work on the mound, Burrows struck out 72 batters, amassed a 1.44 ERA and went 9-0.
The 6-foot-3, 210 pound senior, helped guide the Eagles to a 22-2 overall record and will sign a letter-of-intent this week.
Bryan College, an NAIA school, is coming off the best season in school history, collecting a 31-win season in 2011.
