The suspensions are officially finished for the Rays as Aki Iwamura returns to the lineup tonight. As does Cliff Floyd, getting his first start since June 22 against the Astros now that the Rays have returned to the comforts of DH land.

Wow, Garza throws a one-hitter with Riggans as his catcher and Madden puts Navarro back there. Hmmmm…. Gross is on base 4 times last night and he’s left out of the line-up… Hmmmm…. Damn, good thing this team has talent and doesn’t have to rely on the manager.

Matt, your lack of MLB acumen stands out like Shaq at a midget party. Madden has a team of modestly better than average players, except for far better than average pitching, and has them with the best record in baseball at the halfway point. The man you would replace, Navarro, drove in the only two earned runs the Rays scored last night. Otherwise they would have lost. Thank goodness Madden was the manager, not you.
