BOSTON - The Rays have picked up where they left off at Fenway Park, blasting two home runs to take a 3-0 lead in the top of the first in Game 4 of the ALCS.
Carlos Pena blasted a two-run shot in the left-center Green Monster seats off of knuckleballer Tim Wakefield after B.J. Upton walked, and Evan Longoria followed with his fifth home run of the postseason. The Rays hit four home runs in a 9-1 victory over the Sox on Monday night that gave them a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
