Plant’s Aaron Murray isn’t the only sought after quarterback in Hillsborough County.
On Wednesday, Chamberlain assistant coach Brian Turner said junior quarterback Dontae Aycock received an offer from Kansas. It is the first offer for the 6-foot, 210 pound duel-threat QB.
Aycock led the Chiefs to the Class 5A region final and finished the season with 1,101 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns along with 941 passing yards and five touchdowns. He was selected to the Tribune’s All-County Offensive second-team.
