Auburn became the latest Division I program to extend a scholarship offer to Plant City junior tight end Jordan Prestwood, according to Raiders coach Jason Strunk.
While most schools are recruiting Prestwood, who is 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, as an offensive tackle, the Tigers are recruiting him to play tight end. Strunk said Auburn coaches love his athletic ability, and those coaches got a good look when Prestwood recently attended Auburn’s Junior Day.
Auburn is the seventh Division I program - and second from the Southeastern Conference - to make Prestwood an offer. Prestwood also holds offers from USF, UCF, FIU, West Virginia, South Carolina and Purdue.
