Sickles football coach Brian Turner announced today five players from his 2011 squad have made college decisions and will be taking part in a signing ceremony next week at the school.
Heading to the next level for the Gryphons are offensive lineman Sean Smith, who is headed to Florida Tech in Melbourne, strong safety Jordan Robinson and offensive lineman Rico Najera, who will attend Jacksonville University, defensive tackle Jorge Soba, who will compete for Moorehead State, and kicker Andres Vasquez, who will sign with Western Michigan.
Two other Gryphons standouts, defensive back Adrian Lopez and offensive lineman Michael Santana, are taking recruiting trips this weekend and are likely to finalize their college decisions, Turner said.
