Q: Roy, with all the head coaching jobs that are opening up, will the Bucs lose any of their coaches for these openings, or will any leave to become coordinators for the teams with new head coaches?—Donna Spindola, Wellington
A: There’s a good chance they’ll lose D-line coach Rod Marinelli and DBs coach Mike Tomlin.

In one of your articles you mention 2000 when the Bucs lost Herm Edwards and Lovie Smith and Replaced them with Mike Tomlin and Joe Barry. That cost Tony Dungy his job the following year. Losing Rod Marinelli would be a devestating blow to the Bucs defense. Look what he has done with players like Spires, Wymms,White:Chris Hovan credits Rod M. for his strong effort this year. It all starts ot the line of scrimmage, on Defense that’s the D-line coach. The Glazers need to pay him as a coordinator, name him asst Head Coach. You can’t keep everybody, but unless Rod is offered a head coaching job at a major college or NFL, he should stay and the Glazers should pay.
