Armwood’s King picks Purdue

Armwood senior receiver A.J. King has verbally committed to Purdue, Hawks coach Sean Callahan said Monday.
King chose the Boilermakers over offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, West Viriginia, Mississippi and Florida International.
King was Armwood’s leading pass-catcher in 2009, finishing with 45 receptions for 728 yards and seven touchdowns.
