The Armwood football team has gotten some good news heading into Friday’s Class 4A regional final at Punta Gorda Charlotte - junior middle linebacker D.J. Hitchman is slated to make his return to the field.
Hitchman, who is among the Hawks’ leading tacklers with 79 stops and two sacks this season, has missed the past two games after suffering a knee injury.
Hitchman pracitced Monday and looked good, according to Armwood coach Sean Callahan. Callahan added Hitchman would participate in tackling drills at practice today.
