Armwood junior quarterback Josh Grady has been invited to participate in the U.S. Army National Combine, a showcase of some of the nation’s top junior football players that coincides with the annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
The combine will be held Jan. 7-9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Grady is one of a handful of Hillsborough County players to receive an invite, joining Alonso defensive lineman Anthony Chickillo, Plant quarterback Phillip Ely and Jefferson receiver Andre Davis.
Grady, who had thrown for 1,553 yards and 18 touchdowns entering last week’s regional final at Punta Gorda Charlotte, leads the Hawks into tonight’s Class 4A state semifinal at Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer.
