Following a report by a local television station regarding potential eligibility issues of an Armwood football player, Hawks coach Sean Callahan said Friday afternoon he believes his program has done everything according to state rules and that he is comfortable the “situation is under control” by Armwood’s administrators.
An ABC Action News report stated Friday that Armwood officials have asked the Florida High School Athletic Association to make a ruling on the eligibility of Hawks starting offensive lineman Jack Lightsey, who transferred to the school last spring after playing last year at Orlando Dr. Phillips.
