Miami and Arkansas have made official football scholarship offers to Tampa Bay Tech fullback Maurice Hagens and state schools Florida and Florida State could follow soon, Titans coach C.C. Culpepper said Wednesday.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Hagens, a rising senior, has been literally been bombarded by Division I offers in recent weeks.
Last week, it was Notre Dame. Prior to that, it was Iowa, Kansas, Connecticut, Wake Forest, Clemson, Louisiana State, Tennessee and South Carolina. Culpepper said Florida State offensive coordinator coach Jimbo Fisher attended practice over the weekend and a Florida assistant coach was there Monday. Georgia Tech was also a recent visitor and Culpepper said he expects that school to make Hagens an offer soon . For the last two seasons, Hagens has rushed for more than 1,000 yards. He has also scored 23 touchdowns during that period.
“With Miami making a written offer, I think the rest of the ACC will follow soon,” Culpepper said. “He’s going to have a lot of options before its all over.”
